FIND Connection Community Strength

an intergenerational storytelling project

Kicking Off in September of 2025!

This fall, be part of Hardy Voices — an intergenerational storytelling project where teens and older feminists join forces to share truth, spark change, and cause a ruckus.

the process

This project brings together members of our Feminist Action Board and 65+ women and gender-expansive adults to share powerful life stories.

Virtually, they talk, listen, and choose one story from the adult’s past. The pair then work to shape that story into a short performance—about 5 minutes long.

At the final event, the teen tells the adult’s story out loud, in first person—as if they lived it themselves. While the teen speaks, a picture of the adult appears on a screen behind them, so the audience knows who the story is about.
It’s a powerful way to learn from each other, connect across generations, and bring voices and experiences to life.

Teens gain public speaking, writing, and leadership skills. Adults get to reflect on their lives and know their story matters. And together, they create something unforgettable.

After the story, audience members are invited to ask follow-up questions. this is for the website. please improve. the beginning needs more clarification about how they’re paired off
